Exciting Updates Coming to Westacre Park in 2025!

City of West Sacramento Parks and Recreation is thrilled to announce that construction on the highly anticipated park renovation is set to begin in March 2025! This project will transform the park into a vibrant hub for recreation, fitness, and fun for all ages.

Thanks to funding from the Prop 68 Statewide Park Development and Community Revitalization Grant, this project will bring exciting new amenities and improvements, including:

• A brand-new skate park and pump track for action-packed thrills.
• A refreshing splash pad and climbing wall for family-friendly adventures.
• Updated courts or basketball, pickleball, and futsal, plus upgraded soccer fields to bring the community together through sports.
• Modern public restrooms, shade structures, and ADA-compliant parking for accessibility and comfort.
• A health and fitness labyrinth and innovative play structures to inspire movement a creativity.
• Enhanced lighting, trash receptacles, and parking to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all.
